Introducing PRA
Soave Classico, Valpolicella & Amarone

We are proud to be the appointed importer for Minnesota. Pra has a reputation of the highest standards and is part of a small idiosyncratic group that has created their own rules in Soave. The history of Soave has been haunted by its past, as “Soave classico” has little to do with the bulk wines that come from the Soave DOC. As well with current day controversies, producers like PRA reject the regulations of the DOCG which allow the use of the name outside of the Soave Classico zone. In tasting these wine it is clear there is a higher standard that goes even above and beyond the appellation rules.

The Wines

Soave Classico Otto: A pale yellowish color, its bouquet bursting with notes of flowers (hawthorn and jasmine) and yellow fresh fruits (drupe, peach and apricots).  On the palate, the wine is medium bodied & flavoursome, full of fruit, with clear mineral notes.

 Soave Classico Staforte

Valpolicella Morandina: Blend of traditional Valpolicella grapes Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella & Oseleta.

 Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore Morandina

Amarone della Valpolicella: Intense & complex aromas.  On the palate cherries, plums mixed with bitter cocoa and licorice.  Power combined with elegance, as suggested by the horse breed T.P.R. on the label.

Passito Bianco delle Fontane
